Mr. Hatchwell was born in Casablanca (Morocco) in 1940. He is married to Monique Altaras and have 3 children and 5 grand-children. Mr. Hatchwell is the founder and Chairman of EXCEM Group.
In addition to other special acknowledgements Mr. Hatchwell received in 1995 the "Jerusalem 3000" award by Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, Commander of the Spanish National Merit (Encomienda de Número de la Orden de Mérito Civil) awarded by His Majesty King Juan Carlos I and the Spanish Government in 1999 and Prince of Asturias "Concord Prize" in 1990.
Mr. Hatchwell is a very active member in cultural, academic, business and social circles in Spain, France, Israel, China and the U.S.A. holding numerous positions in Boards of Directors and Governorships in various academic institutions.
David Hatchwell is an MBA in International Business and Finance from New York University and a graduate of the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
He worked at Goldman Sachs, NY, at the Corporate Finance Department and then moved to the Treasury Department at the Republic National Bank of New York, now HSBC. Mr Hatchwell led EXCEM Grupo's operations in China for 15 years and currently is CEO of EXCEM Technologies as well as CEO of the Consulting & Investment Division.
Mr. Hatchwell is a Board member of Grupo EXCEM.
Philip Hatchwell was born in 1970. A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Buckingham (England), he worked first at Republic National Bank, NY, in the Asset Management Division and later at Goldman Sachs, NY, in the Trading Division. Currently, and after working since 1994 in the company he is CEO of the Cement Division and a Board member of Grupo EXCEM. Mr. Hatchwell is also CEO of Cementos Occidentales, S.A.
